How to Make the Perfect Ube Latte
You’ll need:
• 1 heaping tsp (5g) ube powder
• 30 ml hot water (70–80°C / 160–175°F)
• 200 ml milk of choice (we recommend oat milk)
• Optional: honey, agave, or maple syrup (ube has a naturally mild sweetness)
✨ Step-by-step:
1. Dissolve the ube
Add 5g of ube powder to a cup and pour in 30 ml of hot water.
Stir well (with a spoon or whisk) until smooth and lump-free.
2. Add milk
Pour in 200 ml of warm milk.
Oat milk creates the creamiest texture and beautifully complements ube’s natural vanilla and nutty notes.
3. Froth
Use an electric frother for 15–20 seconds to create a silky foam and a beautiful purple gradient.
4. Sweeten (optional)
Ube is naturally lightly sweet, but you can add a touch of honey or maple syrup if desired.
